Whereas Diana was young and had children and died quite tragically. It's not that one is more important than the other. This is > supposed to be a Guiding Light club. Not a sex club. soaps is another thing I'm pretty ignorant about.. my momma sez I'm not old enough to watch 'em, and aside from a hit or miss quarter of days of our lives and the first summer of ryan's hope.. that'd be spring/summer '75, my freshman year in college (my roommates fault, I swear) I've gone along with her.. but.. based on that bit of exposure, I'm pretty sure that's what soaps are about.. people havin' sex with people they probably ought not, and then messes that come from that, and cleanin' up those messes, and soon as one mess is cleaned up, someone hops in the sack with someone else they ought not, and then it starts over.. with occasional fatal illnesses and/or miraculous cures tossed in, or auto accidents and comas, and of course amnesia now and then.. am I.. mistaken? I cleaned up the cc's.. but I'm wonderin' why a bunch of folks that came together to talk 'bout hypothetical people havin' extra-curricular sex are so upset 'bout hearin' that real people do.. I can understand 'em resenting the intrusion, but they seem to be morally opposed to the conversation instead.. and that strikes me as somewhat.. odd.. anno This message was from "anno" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Boy - my little guy was impressed though because I didn't let her have it. So that prompted a long discussion when we got in the car about not stooping to her level and setting a good example for our friends and younger children. I think he understood what I was talking about. The funny thing that happened after that - we were eating out at a nice restaurant afterwards (just me and Carey since hubby was going to work late) and as this elderly lady was leaving she complimented me on what a nice, mannerly young man I was dining with!!! I thanked her and patted her hand and she patted me on the shoulder and said "well you know that relfects on a great mom!" I blushed and thanked her again. Then we also talked about that in the car on the way home. What a nice ending to a wierd evening!!! Angel Hugs, Debbie * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hey, wanna stamp?
