If you don't make yourself a copy, do you just write down exactly how you made the card? Any input would be greatly appeciated. I use them to decorate all my shipping envelopes (I'm currently using the clover right now in honor of St. Pats!) Some other ideas: 1.Take a coffee filter roll the "espresso" wheel over and then put over a glass bowl filled w/ beans! (Filters are great to stamp on the fabric in them mutes the ink, very pretty) 2.My friend, Rubber DI took the "totem" roller and rolled it over a craft colored frame (I have these from All Night Media) and then I put the picture of my husband at the Museum of Natural History standing next to a totem pole! Because the wheels are so inexpensive (ATR...S carries them for only 3.50/wheel) you can get a great selection of them and they are useful! I have lots of wheels, cartridges and holders, (more good news, you only need one holder, just get different cartridge colors),in stock I have some great Easter ones! If you are interested in any clearsnap, let me know! Besides Clearsnap, All Night Media makes some great mini wheels. New to All Night Media are the Pooh - pen wheels. For 3.25 you get a pen w/ a self-inking wheel on top. There are 4 different styles: Pooh walking; Piglet w/ a balloon; Pooh spelled out; and pooh w/ a kite. I have these in stock too! This is happening to me also and I have found , quite by accident, that part of the reason is that someone has started a thread and have not deleted any closed captions that are listed other than the rubberstamps@firewall.genie.net. Also, when you "reply" to a message and do not change the address of the person posting the original note, that person gets the message twice BECAUSE they are also part of the rubberstampers etc. list. SO, you are getting the message ONCE because it was replied to you and SECOND because you are a part of the rsl. Does this make sense? And am I correct in stating it this way? StampCrazy ------------------------------ From: stampcrazy@juno.com (Sue A Bell) Date: Sun, 16 Feb 1997 11:26:53 PST Subject: ROLLERGRAPH WHEELS by Clearsnap Rollergraph wheels by Clearsnap have a wonderful wealth of uses. I teach an entire class using these wonderful stamps. 1. Wrapping paper - a super quick way to roll white sacks and make nifty gift bags. Add a rolled edge of white tissue paper to match. Roll the edge of a 3 x 5 index card and you have a matching set of gift bag, tissue, and gift tag. 2. Greeting Cards - Several of the rollers make wonderful cards. The vertical helium balloon roller is used and featured in the Clearsnap catalog, along with several other cards made from rollers. I've rolled the floral rollers along the edge of white cards and made beautiful borders. 3. No more NAKED ENVELOPES I have the theory that the postal workers just might take a bit better care of my mail if I spice it up a bit. So I NEVER send out a NAKED ENVELOPE. I keep my roller on the desk and roll across the bottom of all envelopes that leave my hands. At the beginning of every month, I roll several envelopes of the two sizes I use most and keep these on hand for mailing bills, etc. 4. Cheap stationary You can roll across the top of typing paper and across the bottom of your envelope and have super quick stationary for every occassion. 5. Beautiful embossed wrapping paper Clearsnap sells uninked cartridges. You can then make up your own color combinations. The Paintbox that Clearsnap sells was made for the rollergraphs. You roll across the top of the pad and it is the exact size of the roller. This is great for rolling anything that is just that size, but sometimes I want to have the designs much longer than that. I have used the embossing ink refill and put it on one of the uninked cartridges. Then when you roll across the wrapping paper, you can emboss the whole thing. 6. Frames The woodgrain roller makes a beautiful frame for your stamping. I've made watercolor scenes and then put them in a woodgrain frame and they have turned out very neat. Lots of the floral rollers also make neat frames for you stamping creations. I know I've used these for more than this, but have gone braindead at the moment.
