I purchased 150 Greenhouse brown journals and have 12 left. They are the small ones 1/4 page with a corragated covers and 50 blank pages inside- they are 100% recycled. I purchased them for 2.00 each and thats what I will sell them for plus the actual cost of postage - I don't want to make any money off them I want to get rid of them, my year of craft fairs are over till spring and I hate to sit on them that long. This way I can recoup the money that Connor's Place put out. They will cost about 1.24 to ship in a padded mailer and come wrapped in a raffita bow . Let me know if you would like one and I will send it right away. For myself, I love to welcome anyone who wishes to participate in my swaps! The more variety, the merrier. In fact, I don't have a player from Australia yet in my State/Province/Country swap (the one where you have to make a card about where you live, one for each participant... ask me for details if you're interested) Usually, for foreign swap participants, I prefer to go like this: Canadians usually have a couple of US $$ bills laying around, so I will ask that they send $2 to cover my mailing costs... If you don't have US $$, how about offering the hostess a gift in excahnge. Or, maybe you could trade swap participation (you enter her swap, and she enters yours... you pay for each other's mailing). There are lots of ways to work things out, all you've got to do is ask! So, I simply delete anything which appears to be addressed to me when I don't personally know the sender. I don't have to worry about invasion but I think I just deleted a couple of greetings and cards. OOPS! Does anyone else do this, or am I just over the edge? There is some gold wire on the front of the card also. katchoo@randomc.com grayish card stock with a piece of purple, blue and green mullberry paper on it and a small piece of corragated paper on top, with a fish stamped and cut out on top of the corragated paper, and 3 stamped coins are glued on the other half of the card. franrshaw@aol.com I again have no idea what the material are, but the basic card is a tanish card stock with gold glitter stamped on for a backgound. Then a piece of tan paper layered on that and then a plaster of paris like thing stamped with a fish on top of that. stmprgal@hotmail.com A card made by stamping like an 8 inch fish and then cutting it out. The fish is stamped and embossed in black, with some pink strips in the background. I got cards from StamPatti and Cheryl Dobkins while I was offline. StamPatti's has a dragon capturing (rescuing?) a maiden from a castle. It's one big image (I have this stamp, too!) emobssed and colored in really vibrantly. I love the orange sky! Cheryl's card is also one image (I think). Three maidens on a boat...kind of like maids of Avalon? It's stamped in black on this really cool goldish metallic card. So elegant! Both are going up on my wall.....thanks for the great art! Grandma's Attic, Wacky Wagon and RubberD...all three have been a pleasure to deal with. I have had prompt service...and constant contact with me to let me know what is going on with my order if it is delayed in anyway. In the beginning I was really hesitant about ordering but feel I have hit the jackpot with these three vendors. I'm sure several of you have ordered from them also and have the same respect for them they I do. It never dawned on me how important my input would be as far as my satisfaction goes...but I am letting you know right now they are fantastic!!! Thanks again to all of you for your courteous service with a smile!!! :-) Sincerely and with friendship...Cindy Puckett AKA..........(Rosebudd48@aol.com...Rubbydub@aol.com...Tooodalooo@aol.com) This message was from Rubbydub@aol.com - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
