Then slightly melt part of candle with heat gun and place tissue on candle, then continue melting tissue around candle. Tissue will actually melt into candle slightly..... You can also stamp on tissue paper and cut out items then melt these into candle, whichever you prefer. I haven't burned any of my candles so can't tell you how that works yet. Hope this helps.... Thanks for hosting this. SU is my favorite line of stamps and I enjoyed seeing these cards. Carol - White cardstock with an angel stamped on the front. She added glitter and puffy paint (?) to her, colored her in and trimmed the edges with fancy scissors. Very pretty card! MD6949@aol.com - Light green cardstock with a doily, then the pansy stamp. She also added the "Simple pleasures are life's greatest treasures" stamp. The bottom is trimmed with fancy scissors and sponged green. Another pretty card. No name - Green and white gingham with a white layer which has "Thinking of You" and a flower bouquet stamped on it. This is very pretty. Margie - Tan speckled cardstock. She speckled it with red ink, then used the Fabulous Flourishes set over it. She added the "Warmest Wishes" with a jute bow. Once again, very pretty. No name - Tan cardstock with the park bench and lamp post stamped on the front. In side the fence and saying is stamped. All was colored in. I have this set (it is my fav) and liked seeing how someone else used it. I'll say it again...very pretty card! This is my third round, and again I'm receiving packages beyond my wildest dreams (and I dream pretty big dreams). My current SSS wows me with = her talent and how very thoroughly she personalizes my goodies. Actually everyone I show her work to (and that is just about everyone I meet) is amazed by her style and sense of color. I must have been a very good stamper in a past life to deserve this.=20 Today I received a small box. I've learned that good things definitely do come in small packages, so I tore right into it (with our department admin. assistants eagerly watching). Inside was a card (gorgeous as usual), a bunch of beautifully wrapped little treasures, and three = small ink pads (love the colors!!!). The card was made using stamped copper (my mother will bust a gut at the leaf you used!). =20 - - There was a small clear fridge picture frame so I can show off some of my own stamped art (wrapped in amazing gold tissue), and a set of rich looking rag paper cards, cream with blackened torn edges. =20 - - In a velum envelope are a ton of small "tiles" made using Herbarium stamps. They're all bold and ancient tile images embossed in black on rich colored cardstock, and accented with rich colors and golds. She instructs me to use them as little accents, to seal envelopes, wherever (which I will!). Another technique I'd never dreamed of, so simple yet stunning. =20 - - In another package is one of the stamps so I can make more (yippie). =20 - - Another package was wrapped in British royalty postage stamp tissue paper (love the one of Princess Anne and her then fianc=E9e now ex). It contained several cards of glossy cardstock and 4 very cool Chinese character stamps (Serenity, Festivity, Gung Hey Faht Choy (aka happy Chinese new year) and a phrase stamp) with a nice chunk of loop tape to mount them (very nice touch). My in-laws will be amazed with = my new creations very soon. - - Lastly, but not least by any means, a small blank paged book she made for me, covered in paper she made. She used one of her "tiles" with a grommet and ribbon as a closure. Just got a grommet thingie, can't wait to use it on a tile! Hope I didn't leave anything out. My head is still reeling and I may not be thinking clearly yet. Thank you so very much. I just realized I failed to thank you for the card you sent last month. Thanks for giving me an address to reach you at. Glad to know I had the LA part correct. And no, it doesn't narrow your identity down very much. :-) Please let me know who makes the large feather stamp you used, I like it, and a friend absolutely fell = in love with it. My son (5 =BD) and I used the gargoyle pillars for some pretty spooky haunted mansions. I made templates from all the stuff = you send, the folding flower card is a huge hit at my kids schools. We're all using the blow pens you sent, but I'm hoarding the wonderful papers you've sent for my own use, and using it I am. I heard this advice from an expert once I think....I all I know is that I didn't make it up. If you feel uncomfortable using any words..then don't do it. If your partner likes these words then talk about how you feel about them. Maybe you can make up words of your own that you don't feel are so offending. Okay so here is another thing that I read in a magazine. Write your lover a letter for them too see if might be easier to write them then it is to say them. This also puts a little flare into the relationship. Another thing that the expert said was if you feel really uncomfortable then maybe this person and you aren't compatible in a sexual way. Which can and does happen. They suggested then maybe you should choose a different partner. I hope some of this made sense. Ever feel like going back to bed??? Well, today was that day for me. All was fine until my son went to take the trash out to the garage. He's yelling at me that there's a cat in our garage "going crazy." I'm yelling at him cause he's got the garage door to the house wide open and I don't want a cat in my house. I'm allergic to cats. Anyway...everything went down hill from there. Went outside to deal with the cat and the cat was freaking out and screaming. I seen cats do this before and have found out they are rabid. This cat was acting too weird to be normal. So...I opened the garage door and yelled scat and he scatted all over the garage. He climbed on shelves, under shelves, under my car and finally behind the water heater. When I attempted to get close to it...it freaked and screamed. So...I decided I'm not messing with this thing. I decided to call Animal Control to come deal with the problem. Where I live I live in an incorporated community but we don't have animal control so I had to call the city. They weren't real nice with me so I called the Police (non-emergency #) and a very kind lady referred me to a couple of different departments and stayed on the line the whole time with me. I must've sounded increasingly more hysterical because she finally sent a policeman to my house while I waited for the animal control people to get there. The darn cat got away after they finally got it out of the garage. The animal control guy chased it all over the neighborhood and then into the neighbor's backyard. It was then determined that the cat may live next door. We have new neighbors. I felt embarrassed after that but the policeman and animal control were pretty cool about it all. What a morning. This all happened before 9:00 this morning and finally resolved itself by about 10:30am. I thought that it wasn't too early I'd sit down and have a glass of wine to calm the nerves but instead went to the Chiropractor for an adjustment. Thanks for listening. Hope everyone had a better day that this. After everything calmed down my son said to me that "he must've taken his stupid pills cause he didn't mean to leave the door open." I told him that I understood. He's too funny. My son and I decided that we should press charges against the cat for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and break and entering. LOL!!!
