The stuff tastes like the ice cream's already in it. This Dog 'n Suds is the old fashioned kind of drive-in where you order into a speaker next to your car and your food arrives on a tray that gets clamped to your window. Last time Max ordered a kid's meal that came in a cardboard Cadillac. There's always 50's music being piped thru the speakers, and on Saturday nights they host vintage car drive ins, and sometimes the people dress the part in chinos, pompadours and poodle skirts. My post lady was there with a box in her hand. It was from kittystmpr. As I opened the box, the first thing to catch my attention was the halloween treat bag with a greedy monster topper. As I anxiously grab the bag to munch on a mini hershey chocolate, I got startled and dropped the bag back into the box. KITTYSTMPR GOT ME GOOD!! Black confetti spiders fell onto my arms and hand. Talk about almost having a heart attack :o) There was a slit at one end of the candy bag where the spiders conveniently fell out. My package contained: a nice variety of cardstock-confetti, earthtone colors; glow in the dark ep wrapped in tissue paper, a stamped pillow box filled with sparkly ribbons; a layered Happy Halloween card; lots of stickers; a wide variety of images like bats, cornstalk, scarecrow to name a few on a glossy sheet; a color magic card; recipes for Cocoa Mix and Popcorn balls; a teapot and tea cup magnet; some spiced cider and hershey's hot cocoa chocolate mint; a cute nursery number tissure paper; and some beautiful pumpkin ribbon. Yesterday a burglar died from a heart attack when he entered a home in the pedregal area (Upper class zone in Mexico city). The owner of the house, a middle age lady, was alone at the time. She said she had just applied a beauty treatment of yogurt, avocado and cucumbers when she heard noises in the house. Since she was alone, she became terrorized when she realized that a stranger was in her home and she tried to hide in her closet. However, as she closed the door, she hit her nose with the door, which started to bleed. When the burglar entered her room and opened the closet door, she started yelling. Perhaps the sight of a person with a pale green face and bleeding nose was too much for the burglar because he died instantly. Antonio Oliveros =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= DON'T USE DYNAMITE A burglar, needing money to pay his income taxes, decided to burgle the safe in a store. On the safe door he was very pleased to find a note reading: "Please don't use dynamite. The safe is not locked. Just turn the knob." He did so. Instantly a heavy sandbag fell on him, the entire premises were floodlighted, and alarms started clanging. As the police carried him out on a stretcher, he was heard moaning: "My confidence in human nature has been rudely shaken." Nancy Carson =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CLERK HURLS SPAM, FOILS ROBBER WITH PANTIES ON HEAD DENISON, Texas -- It must have been quite a scene. A bandit trying to disguise himself by wearing a pair of women's panties over his head was foiled in his attempt to rob a convenience by a Spam-slinging clerk. Police said the bandit tried to rob the EZ Mart store early Wednesday. He struck the woman clerk over the head with something while she had her back to the bandit. The woman got back up and began throwing cans of Spam at the bandit, who fled without any loot. Police said the clerk was not seriously hurt, but she had a knot on the back of her head and was sent home early because she was "pretty shaken up" by the incident. Officers said the man was wearing black sweat pants, tennis shoes, no shirt and the women's panties when he fled from the store. "I've never heard of a robber using women's panties to disguise himself," said Mike Eppler, community relations officer for the Denison Police Department. "There have been no reports of a robber using panties in a robbery attempt in Denison. This is a new one." >From Associated Press, The Dallas Morning News 12/7/96 This message was from Brenda Wise - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. On white glossy card stock, the salt technique using blue ink. What kind of ink is it? 2. On white matte card stock, "watercolor orange and yellow, stamp leaves in orange, emboss with clear." This one is my favorite. Just beautiful. Very bright! Lots of different shades of yellow and orange. 3. On dark blue matte card stock, "sea sponge - sponge on Corn Huskers' Lotion. Well I printed it off and was guarding it closely. I also saved it in Netscape, then I had a crash so it was gone from there. Now guess what, my printed copy is missing, and I haven't been able to send my October people on the list their cards. If anyone has this list could they please, please e-mail it to me so I can do my October cards. I do not want to drop out of this. They're made of metal and have 4 or 5 crossbars with clips on each end so that you can hang that many skirts or pants in a staggered fashion on the one hangar? These are absolutely wonderful for hanging my papers and they look nice hanging on the wall too. >> I LOVE this idea!!! I had mine in binder clips. Three across. The Middle clip I hung over a nail in the door. DH will much prefer your idea.... I tend to put lots of nails into things around here.....
