My hubby is at work, my daughter is at a friends house for a sleep over, and both of my sons are in bed taking a nap! Great considering that the oldest is 10 yrs. old!!! Anyways, I looked through my mail and there were 2 stamping magazines (National Stampagraphic & Rubberstampmadness), my order from EVO, and a Halloween postcard from Pat Vidal! Pat's card was stamped with spiderwebs & spiders on the front. Really cute! Thank you. The order from EVO was the plate that has "Snowman Poop" stamp on it. This is too funny! I already made up a couple of boxes to send as RAKs. No telling who will get them. (veg). I made them up while the boys were asleep. Evo also sent along 2 boxes for the snowman poop and also a catalog. I was abit surprised to see that I already have several of her plates. I got them from Sheryl last July. This is really neat! Thank you for getting the order to me so quickly!!!! We went to South Jersey on thursday for the Wake. My DH and DB-I-L did Ok. Donnie, the hubby of Maria, said that Maria knew the end was very near, the cancer had extended to the brain. She wanted the funeral to be a celebration of her life that God had given her and for all to rejoice that she was going to heaven where there is no more weeping or pain We were all sorry to see her go at the tender age of 49. The funeral on friday morning was a solomon occasions. Then we went to a restaurant for lunch and fellowship. The Irish and Italians light to make the most of our time together. We spent hours talking and eatting. And catching up on news and lives. The most quoted sentence was along this line....."It's is so good to see you even if it took a funeral to get everyone together". My B-I-L flew up from florida, others came in from california. Many people had not seen one another in years. My children did fine with a little help from a friend. My dght (age20) did a good job getting Tim to work and back and getting Pat to school and his dance friday night. We did not get home until 7pm friday night. I was Exhausted!!! and took a nap as soon as we got home. Then got up ate a little and back to sleep. Thursday before we left , I had seen my Rheumatology who gave me a cortisone injection in my right shoulder. For some reason this caused much more pain. This is my 'good' shoulder! LOL The left one has had the surgery already.
