My SS sent me a wonderful package earlier this week. It had in it: a Red foil heart full of wonderful chocolates with a little teddy bear attached to it. I also got some wonderful black mulberry paper with gold threads running through it and some paper lace in a lot of different colors. I almost forgot the corrugated paper and raffia. I see some layered cards in my future. I was also sent a beautiful Happy Easter stamp and a heart postoid. I just love having a Secret Stamper. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I know a lot of people were hoping I could get it done this weekend. So was I. I can't seem to shake this cold thing that I managed to catch a couple of days ago (I'm coughing, sneezing, feverish... You name it) and it doesn't appear that I will make it in to work to work on it over the weekend as I had hoped. I hope all of you can stand a few more days while I try to get over this cold. I promise you the dang thing will come out to every one tha has requested it and I will keep it handy should anyone lose it or some one new wants it. Like I said, just hang with me (just don't get too close! cough cough!) until I get better. Have a good weekend. Denise P.S. I will also be unsubbed over the weekend, but you all can still e-mail me privately since I will check my mail Monday morning if I make it to work. Skirvin) Date: Fri, 21 Feb 1997 12:55:27 EST Subject: RS: TAN: Giggles Mail Days (Long) First of all, I'm really sorry it's taken so long to post some of the wonderful cards and goodies I have received. I was trying to do them personally again and of course our wonderful cyber gods in their infinite wisdom decides to take our list away! Eeeeeks! So I'm not sure who received what at this point. If for some reason you were forgotten, scream at me because believe me it is very unintentional!!! Thank you Paws4Stamping for the beautiful card. I love the black card stock. She used the black card stock as a postcard and layered a piece of the corrugated wheat colored paper on top of what does look like wheat but I'm sure it's just something I've never seen before, then layered stamped and embossed sunflowers on a piece of white card stock. Her shading of the clouds is fantastic. Thank you so much. This card is beautiful! Krayola sent .....SUZY!!!! What a cute Suzy Valentines' Day card and Suzy stickers! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Everyone here at the zoo just loves them!!! Ok, so I'm the zoo keeper so what!! I'm in Suzy heaven again! Linda, Duh Stamper, sent the cutest postcard Valentine!!! The has hearts in pink stamped on cream cardstock and then she has part of a brown paper bag squared and layered on top with some more pink hearts stamped and then she has a stamp of a bag on a real brown bag cut out with with two red striped hearts that you can pull out of the top of the bag!!! Tooooooo cute! Paula Jo Green, now I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I've had to send Paula a bill from my dentist because of her gift. I know that it's a great thank you to send to someone sweet enough to think of you and send you a gift but I just had to do it!!! Paula Jo found the cutest Hershey's Kiss pin and when I saw it I was so excited because I know that inside that foil wrapper is CHOCOLATE!!!!! Ok, so I failed to read that it was a pin....I bit in to it, wrapper and all! Well, I got to go visit the dentist thanks to Paula Jo! Tee Hee! Thanks Paula Jo.....I really do love the pin and the thought you just picked it up because it reminded you of me, means so very much to me! I received a package from Zonia and all I can say is WOW!!! Chocolate police swiped all the chocolate!!!! Boo Hoo!!! It better be in my Easter Basket or their heads will roll!!!! You would not believe all the neat rubber stamps Zonia packed into this package. I'm in shock! Yes....I am still dizzy with excitement......then the cardstock.....Wowza!!!! I love cardstock.....I'm now attending the Paperaholics meetings....All the confetti was so coooool! This package blew my socks off and I wasn't even wearing any!!! Zonia this package was so unbelievable and so generous that there are just no words to tell you what a wonderful feeling you gave me and keep giving me every time I think of your generosity!!! You are way too sweet for words! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! PJ sent me a "Linda" Valentines' Day card.......she wanted to know how I got a major card company to make a card just for me......it's easy.....you threaten them with the embossing and confetti guns!!! Tee Hee! Thank you! Wow! You should see the envelope Debbie Burnham made! Too cool! I want to be a stamper just like her when I grow up!!! How or Why in the world you would ever appologize for the card you made is beyond me. It is too darling for words. Debbie made an explosion card but let me tell you about this one....On the outside is a little bear holding a bee hive. She has cut the little bear's eyes out and put the moveable eyes in but wait that isn't all she has also put a little flower below the bear and if you turn the flower his little eyes move back and forth!!! Then inside the card which expands is a little bear on a swing and flowers but the really neat part of this card is for the blue sky she has taken a "Feel Better Soon" stamp and stamped and restamped in blue so it looks like the sky......The grass is done the same way only stamped in green! This card is unbelivable!!! And this girl only lurks on the list???? Oh my!! What talent is lurking in our shadows!!!! She also sent me a gift certificate for chocolate candy....Yummmmmeeee...guess where I'm headed when I get out of here? She also stamped me a puzzle! Debbie you have no business lurking....you sure could teach all of us so much!!! Thank you for the wonderful card and chocolate and the puzzle you are just so unbelievable!!! Then I received a Valentines' Day card from my adopted sis, Angelhrt...no it didn't have pictures of a ground hog sucking on her toes!!! I think the wrong person adopted her. I think she should adopted me!!! Are you sure you haven't been stamping for years???? She made a postcard with bears and hearts and lips and just like Angelhrt it is just so special!!! Thank you sis! I received a Valentines' Day card from Annette and this also is a really cute card. She has used some fancy Fiskars around the edge of the white cardstock and layered red Mulberry paper and then a piece of wallpaper with a red patch work heart stamped on top. On the inside she has stamped, "Your Friendship is Stamped on my heart." I love that saying!!! This is so nice and I'm so happy you took the time to make me a card. More to come later after I rest my one good arm.....yikes! Thank you to all of you for being such special angels! Giggles and Grins!
