We have a guy who comes by the mall about every 2 to 3 weeks to sharpen scissors and knives for some of the food places and hair salons. He's done mine for me although he looks down his nose even at my Kai ones because they don't have a set screw so they can be taken apart for sharpening and adjusting.(of course I think he wants to sell me some $50 pairs) But they still cut great!! Angel, The problem is probably that you got some of the ink on the previously embossed area and somehow didn't get enough embossing (any?) powder on those areas. Reheat at this point to make the existing EP warm and sticky and then re-emboss with clear. You can do this a couple times and it creates a great porcelain effect.
