I have played around with making paper. I have used everything from normal xerox paper to colored bond to cotton linter. You can usually find it in packs sold by the 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. This is the same stuff used by Cotton Press for their cast paper projects. But you can use any good quality card stock, recycled junk mail that is not too heavily printed etc. Save your trimmings. Heck you can even use some scraps of mulberry paper. I save all colors and then tear them up fine before soaking and then putting them in a blender. I'm hoping to get some abaca fibre soon. I also carry linter paper by the pound. Ann B.
