Many artists have reduced their paintings to cards, and on the back are not ony credits to the artist, but often a bit of biography as well. It may be a stretch for some of us to realize that we are artists also. I suspect the reluctance to put our names and stamp credits on the back comes, at least in part, because it is hard to credit oursselves as "real" artists. WE ARE!!!!!! Well--I don't mean it interferes in the actual mailing (getting it in the envy, etc.)--I just don't think stamp credits written or pasted are aesthetically pleasing and the majority of people I send personal mail to are not the least bit interested in stamp companies and I like to write MY message on the card. Hi everyone! Did you see our review in RSM? I'm still bouncing from that one, and I'm excited about our first convention in April- so during this lull in my nervousness, I thought I'd post some specials to my online friends. Also, with all this talk of a vendor appreciation week, I'd like to propose customer appreciation week, too. After all, you are the ones who make this little company grow! So, in appreciation of all you guys, here are some special treats from Turtle Press. Irish/Celtic themed hand carved rubber stamp grab bags. These contain our exclusive high quality hand carved rubber stamps- no two are exactly alike. These grab bags will have St. Patrick's Day images, celtic stuff, and some other green treats. You'll get at LEAST $40 worth of stamps, for only $27 plus $3 shipping. (If you'd rather have mostly St. Paddy's designs, or mostly celtic, just let me know). Spring Holiday hand carved rubber stamp grab bags. These may contain Easter Eggs, spring designs, bunnies, and of course some treats. If you order this grab bag, let me know if you like Easter or Spring best. Same as above, at LEAST $40 worth of stamps, for only $27 plus $3 shipping. Note: if you haven't seen our stamps yet, check out our web page, at http://users.aol.com/turtlepres. Print out this email first, though, because I'm only posting these specials here and on AOL, not to my web page. Collage Grab bags, contain a whole quarter pound of papers and treats sure to inspire. Choose Spring Holiday theme (pastels) or St. Patrick's Day theme (greens and golds). Only $10, including shipping, OR, get one grab bag free if you order two of the above hand carved rubber stamp grab bags! These offers expire March 7, 1997, so be sure to have your orders postmarked by then. If you need free catalog with your order, just let me know! I'll be completely honest with you all- I need to raise some cash for my Ft. Washington show fee. So help me out, and order lots of stuff. ;) Checks and money orders are wonderful, but no credit cards, please. Email, call, or fax your order ahead and your stuff will ship the day after your check arrives. (Otherwise it might take as much as TWO days, how will you bear the wait? ;) Go ahead and print out this email to use as your order form. AND have a good weekend! :) Kerrie Turtle Press P.O.
