Yea!!!!!! I don't know if anyone else got theirs yet - don't remember seeing any posts on it - so I will go ahead and describe what I got. From Jody Morrison - a gorgeous rose done in a 3d style - layered on first a pretty teal blue linen, edged with a victorian scissors, next layer is pink linen, which was brayered with colorbox velvet and lilac, then dark blue poster board for the card itself. There was alot of work done cutting this rose out - it looks very real! Linda Neumann - a large design of a flower cart filled with gorgeous flower embossed in gold on vellum - then colored in with markers - I love how she blended the colors on this! She attached the vellum card to a matte white cardstock with a pretty rainbow ribbon with gold edges - I love how this was done - need to try this myself! Wanda - Flower Stamper - this is so pretty - it is a large bunch of roses embossed on burgandy mulberry paper (she used the egyptian gold ep) - this was then layered on burgandy cardstock. Very elegant looking! Lee Ann Tremain - she stamped a very pretty tulip on white cardstock - then she added a mat of light pink cardstock with an oval opening trimmed in gold glitter. I love the look of this card - looks like it's just asking to be framed! Lady Roslyn - this card is so bright and cheery! It has a stamped picture of a birdhouse, sunflowers, and two birds sitting on a fence on white cardstock. The next layer is brown corrugated paper, then a cute paper with an apple design. These all are edged with victorian scissors, I believe. Then these are placed on a background of white cardstock. I don't know what she used for the neat corners on this, but whatever it is, I'd sure like one! She added lots of stars, glitter, stickers, etc. to the background - also some pretty buttons and a bow of gold cord. A fun card! Well, this is my first time ever describing swap cards and I know I didn't do everyone's justice. I am now really excited about getting involved in alot more swaps! Use it for accent rather than overall stamping purposes and you might be happier with the results. Also try adding 1 teaspoon of tinsel to one ounce of embossing powder in the same color for the controlability of powder with the glitz of tinsel! P.S. Tinsel doesn't last as long as powder either!
