I'm going to look into those Mars Staedler 3000 markers that were talked about last week to see if I can get even paler colors and even less marker lines. Marvys have their place though, Tombows are not as good for coloring on solid stamps in my experience. Winabeth had cut an oval out of the middle of a wood grain effect card used black as a backing and looking out of the oval is a lovely owl with a real feather tucked behind him. Pokeymary had embossed a desert scene with a stage coach rushing along and in the foreground is a wise old owl perched on some cactus. Suki has three owls on her card one in front of a huge moon beautifully shaded in with rub ons ? one copper embossed in flight, cut out and stuck on and the third in black stamped straight on to the card swooping across the background. Cynthia Sillitoe had embossed in gold an owl flying over tree tops with a half moon in the background, this was done on grey card mounted on gold flecked handmade paper ? I am relieved for now, the stress was really getting to me. He has dropped out of school three times now, which is minor compared to his use of speed. I have gotten to the point though that I know I didn't fail as a parent, but that these were his choices, but the pain and shame has been great. Sorry guys, didn't mean to vent.
