Thank you Jaimee for hosting this. All the cards are great. Amy embossed a snow man on white cardstock and colored it, and stamped snow all around it. Cathy Whitehorn Used lilac card stock. On white cardstock she embossed a frame with hearts (DOTS) and she stamped and colered pansies with a butterfly (Stampin' up) in the open frames. Very elegant. Kate Hill used brown cardstock. On white cardstock she embossed a kind of knot a few times, some are just half on it. And inbetween she used the stencil (Dreamweaver stencil) to color the image. On the inside she colred the knot a few times, also on white cardstock. J.J.D. embossed on Glama Natural 29lb, vellum, which she colored green with Marvy Matchables dye-based ink pad. She embossed a frame and a frog in the middle of it. She layered the vellum, back and front, on parchment cardstock. Legionette used grey speckled cardstock and embossed the corners. She placed a string of green metallic looking cord on the card and layered it with a piece of torn blue mulberry paper. On it she layered a heartshaped cut out piece of white cardstock on which she embossed and colored a heart. So I got home and went to bed for a little while. My SSS said I should get my package on Wed. It didn't come so I thought I would wait before I told her so. Well Friday morning I felt awful and stayed home from work, well at 8:15 am there was a knock at the door, My SSS package was here. Henry hadn't left to go to work so he said hurry open it up so I can see. (He really gets into this SSS thing). Henry was really impressed with my goodies. Thanks so much for sending it, It really made my day brighter. Even though I went back to bed and slept till 12:30 pm. Connie has spoiled me rotten the past 6 months. Thank you for being so wonderful. It's so neat to have a Christian SSS. I do hope Connie, that you will keep in touch with me. I look forward to having you as a cyber friend. Here is what Wonderful Connie sent to me for my December package. A very beautiful Christmas card. It's three wise men on a hill looking over the city and a very bright star that has a cross in it is over the city. It was done on velum with blue ink over a blue speckled card. It was held together with a navy with gold trim ribbon. The inside said, "Wise men seek Him still." Now for all the wonderful goodies. I got a large hand made candy cane with the story of the candy cane attached to it. I have always loved this poem. I also got a Christmas tin filled with chocolates from "Hart of Maine Fine Chocolates". Those were very good. I got a really neat Multi-function tool it has a protractor, french curve , ruler and a template. She sent some very, very pretty soft colored tissue paper, they have all kinds of floral designs and they are very elegant. A purple fress lilac Yankee candle. It smells so good. A heart Christmas ornament with a picture of an angel on it. Thanks this will go nicely with my collection of angels. Several half sheets of card stock. I love these colors, I didn't have any of this light blue you sent, thanks Connie. I got a BRAYER!! Thanks so much I'll put this to lots of use. I got a color box stamp pad (bouquet) it has 3 very pretty pink/purples. I got a stamp that is a glove with a heart on it from Stampin' Up! And lastly Something my whole family will enjoy. A very pretty picture of a rocking horse with a teddy bear on the floor. It has a blue and beige matt on it and I'll be able to hang this in my new house. My very first house warming gift. (well Connie may not have meant it to be that but I think that's what I'll call it). Connie, Thanks so much for being a wonderful SSS. You were always on time, you kept contact with me either by vitural cards or notes in my packages. I pray that God blesses you in all you do. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Argh! Sam is wandering around in a wide-eyed daze that Santa called him and knew what he wanted for Christmas! He is so glad he got that reindeer chow, because Santa said Rudolph was hungry, but Blitzen needed to go on a diet! Sam was a bit nervous to talk to Santa, but if 4 yr old younger brother Scott could do it, then he could, too. Thanks Santa for a real pick-me-up! Santa is REAL!!!
