WHAT'S THIS--- Ann's husband Craig got off work early!---As I entered the house I see shredded bits of white fur and red cloth strewn out through out the house, leading to the bedroom. As I opened the door to the bedroom I see a rather large man in a tattered red suit and laughing like crazy scampering out the window, and Ann is lying only partially clad in her leather thong and nothing else, except a large smile is on her face and several rubber stamps of different kinds of candy and stamp pads are scattered all over the bed. "That's it" I hollered "no more rubber stamping for you, these special delivery guys are getting more attention than I do", "If you would wear that outfit for me I would help you stamp more often" Craig( the irrate jealous husband) Giggles said.. >>>> Well, lots to do......so off to MS and look Santa I need to talk to you about a certain stamper we are going to go visit. She is notorious for flirting with all men.....whoa! Santa stop flying the Sleigh this fast! Yikes! What in the world is that???? Oh no! There is that crazy Ann with lights on her rooftop in the shape of a naked woman for Santa! Oh my! When the door opened what to my wondering eyes did appear but Ann dressed in leather awaiting her Santa dear! Oh geez! Just tell me where the Turtles are and be quiet so you don't make me sick! So as she and Santa disappeared into the Naughty Room I was anxious to see if Ann really did own any stamps or if she was just the joke teller for our list......just as I suspected.....not a stamp in the place!!!! Oh MOM Janet and DAD Frank.....I found an imposter!!!! Well I just can't be apart of this deception so I pound on the door and make Santa put his torn and shredded pants back on and off we go! I am not too good at descriptions, but I will do my very best. As some of you may remember, Sheryl had some difficulty while making this gift for me. She poured her eggnog into her fabric stiffener and made a real mess!!!! Not to worry, I thought maybe we could become millionaires on the next infomercial, but not such luck!! Any way, if any of you have ordered postoids from Sheryl, and I know you have, You know what great and fast work she does . Well, that is what I did, I ordered 8 sets of postoids and she said that she would make me a book to keep them in. Well, I was never expecting such a master peice!! The book is just unbelievable, it is covered with a soft woolly like fabric and it has antique looking photos krinkled on it and then edged with gold, buttons were places in several locations and a nice saying added. It was all secured with a rafia bow with a wonderful dried rose. This is just unbelievable..... Inside the front cover is an antiqued paper with my name, made by Sheryl Davis and listed as a numbered edition, 1 of 1. She then made two great little devided boxes for the postoids to fit into, each style has it's own little spot. And she added a copy of her catalog!!! I know that I do not do a great job of describing things, but this is fantastic. If you haven't ordered the minimum to receive one of these hand made books you really should, Sheryl does wonderful work and I am so glad that I have gotten to know her as a friend too. Christmas Worms

candleBy Julie Gordon

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even my spouse.

I lay still beside him until I heard a snore,
then I slipped from the bed and out through the door.

I crept up the hallway and down the front stair;
I tiptoed to the living room to see what was there.

And lo and behold, under the tree,
was a shiny black box labelled to ME!

I pulled and I pried, and as I lifted the lid,
I heard a cough from behind, my husband up from bed.

I stood up and stammered "I-I just couldn't sleep";
"Mm-hm", answered Don, "well that box'll keep".

And so I resigned to go back to bed,
but visions of gifts still danced through my head.

A new dress, a necklace, a crate full of socks;
what could possibly be contained in that box?

A tea set, some perfume, a puppy to keep;
I ran through the options as I drifted to sleep.

In the morning I woke from that sleep with a scream;
creepies and crawlies; I'd had a bad dream.

And then I remembered just what day it was:
December 25th, Christmas, of course!

I ran to the living room to see what I'd get,
but I wasn't prepared for the sight that I met.

There were worms in the carpet, worms on the chairs,
worms in the hallway, worms on the stairs.

Worms hung from the lampshades and climbed up the walls;
they infested the kitchen; they crawled through the halls.

I looked at my husband; on his face was pure shock;
bewildered he wondered "how'd they escape from that box?"

And then I remembered that I'd lifted the lid;
could worms have been what my Christmas box hid?

"Yes", said my hubby, "it's a vermicomposter";
under my breath I muttered "I'd as soon have a toaster".

But alas I was stuck with this so-called 'worm bin',
So I set about getting those worms back in.

And now it's one year later, Christmas eve once again;
my house plants are thriving, I've worm bins times ten.

Yes, it's true, that black gold sure works like a charm;
I can't wait 'til my husband opens his brand new ant farm!
