Because I personally believe that samples done by customers are the best sales tools one can have. >> Phil -- That is my point exactly. Have you looked at my site? I don't sell anything - in fact, I NEVER WILL !!!!!!! It is a site of pure pleasure. Where the newbies (and more advanced) can see what awesome stamps (and artists) are out there ... It is very difficult to "imagine" what a card looks like when we describe it from the swaps. My site allows everyone to see, not "imagine", what the cards look like. I (and many others) make sure that we give proper credit. However, I cannot hold a gun to all of my swap participants to put proper credit on their cards. Heck, I'm luck if most put their own names on the cards ! But, as long as they give credit, I'll be happy to do the same when I scan it in. I think that the entire "copyright" B.S. is out of hand. As a consumer, I would like to be able to share with people what I do ... and some of the great stamps I have. From the earlier posts, DOTS has lost my business because of their attitude. If a vendor asks me to remove something from my website, I will do it, without hesitation. I will also make sure that everyone knows when they go to my website that the vendor won't allow any images ... wonder how that will help their business ? Can't we just play with our stamps and share our creativity with our friends without having the "copyright police" called ??????? Did I miss any great topics or ideas while I was away? I really missed reading the list while I was gone so I'm ready to do some reading. Please send me some swap ideas. I've seen lots of card requests, and I send cards off to most of them. This is the first time I've done it. My sister is having a rough time right now, and I think it would really cheer her up if she found cards in her mailbox. She lost her job only two weeks before Christmas, and her husband is not doing well after heart surgery. She is not a stamper, but she is a crafter and appreciats hand made things.
