This is what I did with my swaps. If I got the right size envelope I'd send the swap back with whatever postage was sent. If it's not enough then the person receiving the swap has postage due. This way it doesn't cost me anthing to return the swap. When I emailed Lisa privately she told me why she requested extra postage. It makes sense to me who wants to pay for other peoples postage, especially with the size of her swaps. As for people not sending big enough envys I just sent them on of mine. However, my swaps were relatively small I wouldn't want to do this for everyone. She also requsts 5X7 envys for her swaps. I think that is a good idea. That way everyone knows what to send so the hostess doesn't end up providing envys for the swap. I also agree with Brenda, if people don't send what the hostess requests the email the participant and ask for what is missing. When you join a swap you should send what is requestd. Unless, you are absent mind like me. Right Anno?! But we worked that problem out though emailing each other. Or, putting a note in with the swap asking to be sent the additional postage, etc. I, as a participant, would not be offended to have this happen. I wouldn't want the hostess to be out money because of my oversight. Just my 2cents. This person, not only uses q-tips to clean the air vents on her car at least once a week, a toothbrush to clean her car wheels, but when she vaccuums her house, she will do a strip across the floor (always making sure her footprint do not show in the newly swept area), lifts up the vaccuum and then does the next strip of her carpet so that the lines the vaccuum makes are straight.
