For those who haven't heard yet............ I was very excited when I received my first RAK (Random Act of Kindness) and I've RAK'd others who also were excited to receive their first one. To further explain what a RAK is, someone on the list challenged us to send a card to someone for no apparent reason. Not a birthday, anniversary, swap etc. but just for the fun of it. It really caught on and we all enjoyed receiving these unexpected cards. Someone called it a Random Act of Kindness and it stuck. The Wannabee RAK'd List is for those who have never been RAK'd and want to be. If that's you, just send me your name and address with a request to be added to the Wannabees. It will not be posted to the whole list, only to those seeking a name to RAK. Likewise if you would like to RAK someone who has never been RAK'd contact me for the latest list. Some send only a card or postcard, (signed or unsigned) others include small token gifts, such as postoids, um's, background papers, embellishments, once I even received homemade chocolates! So most anything can be a RAK. No only my dear IL got me the papyrus but also 12 tubes of the paints use to paint the papyruses the Egyptian way, cool hu? Well, I am willing to sell a few of the papers if anyone is interested, so lets say $6.00 for the large and $3.00 for the smaller. I will be ship to you in a tube for protection and the cost for mailing will be $2.00. If more postage is needed I will cover it. If the response is good, I can get more papyrus from Egypt because my sweet daughter is coming home in the firts week of February (YAHHH). So if interested, e-mail me soon so I can see if I will have to order some more. She just wraps the tree up, lights, ornaments, everyting, and sticks it in the corner of the garage - no basements in FL. We leave the lights on (we've tied them to the branches), take the tree apart, unplug one string from the other and stick it in the box. Do have to undress it tho. --`--,--{@ Patti in Fort Myers, FL @}--`--,-- ~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~^~:~ Computers are life. Rubberstamping is art.
