The cover is done by RubberZombee on a light speckled cardstock and she has stamped and colored numerous images including a pumpkin man, shamrocks, pointsetta, turkey, tulip heart, hot air balloons, rockets and Happy New Year with celebration things coming out of a top hat and in the centre, a blank calendar with 1998 stamped over top. January has a pink frame, a large snowlady with pink and green hat mitts and neck-cape with the words Snowmen will melt your heart. The background is filled in with tiny blue snowflakes. The calendar dates have been filled in with various holidays, and the flower and birthstone of the month are in the first blank. The moon stages are also indicated. February is by Val Kildaw. She has made a diamond shape frame with the heart rollograph and used the sweetest House Mouse stamp in the centre with two mice sitting on the edge of a bowl of paper clips. Everything is wonderfully colored and spots are highlighted with red glitter. March is by Jessica Edwards and she has stamped numerous spring images, bunny, flowers, birdhouse, kitten in pot, deer eating grass, these are all done in black on white, with the grass in green. March 11th is my birthday and there is a tiny sealed envelope over that date. Guess I'll have to wait to see what's inside April is my page and I did tulip stems in metallic green with 11 different colored umbrella's as the flowers. Raindrops in blue are stamped coming down over the "flowers" and baby's breath is stamped in green at the bottom. May is by Eva J. Koyama. She has stamped the floral letters for M A Y, and stamped pink, purple and green flowers and butterflies all over the page. June is by June (Kozier, that is) and she stamped a scene of Santa at the beach, with the words "Santa's on Vacation". This is on the bottom half of the page and on top she has stamped three different images of Santa, one playing tennis, one riding a reindeer motorbike and one of him on a bicycle. Also the words Ho, Baby three times. July is stamped and ep'd in red, silver, gold and black huge fireworks explosions and the word July stamped in Red and in Blue. In the lower right side of the page is layered mulberry papers in red, white and blue and on top is a cute bunny in a dress with raised liquid applique in white on the ears and feet - the dress, of course, in red and blue on the white bunny. August starts the word with a fancy floral letter "A" ep'd in gold and beautifully colored. The background is all sponged? cloud in tans and blues. Overtop of this are two carousel animals, one a horse in fancy livery and one a lion with a green and black saddle. The words "May all your dreams come true" are stamped and ep'd in black and across the bottom are music sheet bars and notes. September is on dark green cardstock over which is layered a large torn piece of light brown homemade paper. On top of this to the left is a bright red cutout apple (not stamped) and at an angle a rectangle of white cardstock, edged in purple with the following words stamped and ep'd in gold: In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught" and the credit. Across the bottom in copper lettering is the word September. October by Nan Robkin is done on a deep mustard colored cardstock and stamped with images all over in brown. A very large image of a pumpkin with wide open mouth has little people (elves? gnomes?) sitting on top, standing beside and standing inside it. Over the rest of the page in grassy or leafy areas are many more of these little people, playing games, painting, roller skating, talking, etc. November by maren@alaska is done on white glossy cardstock. The background is sponged in blues, purples and pinks. There is a lovely angel in the centre with grey wings and a purple dress, and in each corner is a celestial image in different stamps, suns in upper left and lower right and moons in opposite corners. Stamped over the page are blue and gold stars. December is done by Bonnie Gard and has two free-style snow mounds. On one is stamped a big snowman wearing a top hat and scarf carrying a christmas tree and on the other is an entire family of 5 snowpeople The background is sponged in purple/pink/blue with gold embossed stars over it. A yellow crescent moon is in the upper left corner and the word December is across the top. I love each and every one of these pages, but would really like a list of who did what because many did not have names with them. There was such a lot of work that went into them all. Thank you so much RubberZombee for putting this all together. You can bet I'll be doing it again next year LindaLoo This message was from lindaloo@telusplanet.net - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I just made 20 invitations to my daughters 1st birthday party. Since I am the only one in the family to stamp (other than MIL who just started 2 wks. ago), everyone was very impressed. Several people are saving them. What I can't figure out is why they saved those (which were REALLY simple and kind of plain) and threw away the Christmas cards that took me 4 months to make (made over 100 of them). Go figure. Is everything all right? None of us have received our cushions that we sent the stamps and cards to you for. Would you please update us as to when you actually plan to put them in the mail and when we might expect to receive them? I know that rubberstampers are special people and we take care of each other. So it is our hope that you are well and that the cushions you promised will be in the mail very soon. Patty, These stamps are made by All Night Media. They even come in a box that says Conversation Hearts. I buy them every year for my students. They get one of the stamps. (Except for last years class- the class from Hell)! I believe they come nine to a box. They are foam mounted. I have also seen some by A Stamp In The Hand. Hope this helps!
