I think I'm finally "re-cooping" from the holidays. These cards were really great and thanks Leona for hosting. I say this every time.....I'm terrible at describing these, but I really like to try to acknowledge the cards I receive in swaps. Lisa Mallette--blue cardstock with a gorgeous black feather across the front. In the upper right hand corner, she has stamped a victorian lady on white cardstock then layered this on black trimmed with decorative scissors. Thank You is stamped in the lower left hand corner. Really pretty! Sharie Soriano--looks like she stamped a heart and rose image on vellum, embossed with silver, colored on back of vellum, cut out, then layered on piece of white mulberry. She also has a piece of white paper lace across the front. This is all layered on dk purple/burgundy? cardstock with decorative corners, then this is layered onto white cardstock. Also...a silver bow at the top. Very nice! Susan aka Coffeestamper-- on blue cardstock she stamped a pretty teacup in blue, cut out and used mounting tape and put this on really pretty pale blue cardstock. At top is the phrase "Friendship begins with a cup of kindness". stamped also in blue. On bottom of card she has put a little string of white pearl/beads across the front on top of lace which is also a pale blue. Decorative corners on two top corners of card. This is another really pretty card! Unknown--on white cardstock which looks dry embossed on two sides with a rose pattern, this person has stamped a victorian looking lady standing beside an empty chair--this is embossed in black and very lightly colored. Above the image is this saying "If you haven't got anything nice to say about someone, come sit next to me" Hilarious! There is a string of pearl/beads across the card that has been attached with what looks like dark red sealing wax. Another great card! Unknown--on green cardstock they have stamped a row of perfume bottles, embossed in gold. This has been cut out, then layered onto taupe/pale rose? cardstock. There is a strip of lace across the front and the perfume bottles appear to be sitting on it. Nice way of using lace again. Really pretty! These were really pretty cards and Thanks Leona again for hosting. I'm wondering if anyone received my cards? Again...apologies for being so late in posting this. Great job everyone!
