White - 4 doors, 5 speeds, stereo, A/C, dove grey fabric seats and interior & hatchback. Love it. Just got a new clutch last spring. Only 63,000 miles. Bought it new in 1990 for my birthday. 54 mpg. We also have a 1990 Ford Aerostar extended van that Rich mostly drives except when he is short on gas money, then he uses mine baby. Over 100,000 miles. The van is great - very pretty, wild strawberry and tan, rides like a dream, nice and high and you can see everything, 7 passenger seats, lots of space, front and back stereo, A/C, cruise control, and everything, but I'll take my Geo anytime. His electronic locks don't work, and the electronic window on the passenger side hardly works. Many years ago (1972-3) I had a black VW bug. I cut huge mushrooms out of red and white contact paper, and put them on it. It was, after all a beetle. We called it the mushymobile. The kids were embarassed to ride in it. And if they were with their friends when I drove by, they wouldn't admit knowing me. I was just a kid then (35ish). Not a flower child tho. Too old for that. If I could duplicate the 1987 Dodge Aires I had that was totaled at 18 months and 18,000 miles when I was rear-ended on the Taconic Parkway, I would love to have that again. It was my favorite car. I loved it so much. IT was my dream car. White, four door, with all the goodies. Silver blue velvet upholstery. I wanted that car so much, I dreamed about it, put pictures on the mirrors, finagled and schemed how and finally was able to buy it. I was more concerned when she was totaled than I was about my own injuries. I would take another like her in a minute if I could. I drive a 1980 Plymouth Volare (Valerie); s'posed to be white but is actually road grime grey. My husband drives what used to be my car-- a 1973 Dodge Dart aka The Bruiser. Why? It's black (landau top) and blue (where the paint hasn't flaked off to reveal red primer), and ugly all over! Two of her four doors don't open, and the third is dying. So many dings and dents we didn't notice that someone slammed into it last week during the brief snowstorm. I was coming home from a meeting and saw this car going along the road I was turning onto-- I thought "gee, that looks like my car, except for the honking dent in ther rear!" Then I saw my "rather be stamping" bumper sticker and realized-- it was my car! Daisies, Meridee Stamp With Me! merideestamps@juno.com I sell Stamping Sensations and HALOS! I don't think I could stamp without them. The tip of each petal is perfect for precision inking, and I've never had a problem with them being dry. The versatility of these pads can't be beat! IMHO. My Crafter's Ink pads, on the other hand, were dry from the get-go. Wonder what's going on. Rosemary - ---------- > From: John M. I had more fun mail that junk mail and bills. And all because of all of you on this list. I got two Raks, and order from EVO, and Happy Rubber Stamps club catalogue. Well I guess the order from EVO and the club catalogue were my fault, but I would never have know about those great dealers without this list. Ellen (EVO) it has been said before but I have to say it again, you are a great vendor, you're patient, you answer numerous questions, you amaze me with your fast service and you have a husband that can't count worth beans but packs a mean card stock sampler. And all that rubber, can't wait to get the Kia's to it. Thank you. Dianna (the RAK list keeper) sent a lovely card, a rose beautifully done on some sort of shiny coated paper cut out and placed inside an oval frame. Dianna, what kind of paper was the rose done on? And thanks for the idea of how to use some of the templates I "needed" but haven't used yet. Also included were four Rak Delivery postoids on peel and stick paper. Thank you. Vivian, I hope you are reading this, I don't have your email to thank you personally. Vivian sent me a beautiful card. I don't know enough about the different papers to do it justice but trust me, it is lovely. Kind of a cream colored card stock base, next a layer of burgundy trimmed with decorative scissors, next the same cream colored cs trimmed with the same scissors and stamped and embossed in gold, the image is a nine square pattern filled with a different heart in each. And some lovely burgundy ribbon edged with gold finished of the card. The stamp inside says it all "Friends are hugs for the heart". Thank you for a lovely RAK. And last but not least, Ginny and her wonderful stamp club. If you have not joined you should. This is too good a deal not to share, and Ginny is another one of those great vendors. Sorry to ramble on so, but I just had to share this all with you. Sharon D.
