(He now considers himself a cattle baron- with one steer) Yesterday I had the opportunity to purchase a Lama for him. WHY ? you ask...he has ALWAYS talked of having a Lama. Work has been tedious for him lately and is getting worse. He works 60-70 hrs a week with little recreation. And he always does his best to keep me content. SO..............................when the chance came up I jumped on it. = Then I told him. I asked if he was going to have to work all week end this = week. He said he had the weekend from HELL coming up. Then asked WHY ? I told = him that we were going to need to drive to MO. to pick up the Lama that I had just agreed to buy. WOW what a change. He was the happiest man. It = really lifted his spirits. He even sat up and did paper work "Happily" last = night. Just thought I would share that. Sometimes you have helped me when I = needed to "RANT" about Ron and Dan (pesky neighbor) so you needed to hear that he is really wonderful and appreciated too ! I'd rather see the money spent on education! Well, its getting close so thought I'd try to set up a time and place that we could all meet here. 11:00 at the "Stamping-up" booth. Be sure to wear a name tag that has your RS name on it. After the conv. (I think it closes at 4:00), lets all go somewhere for FOOD. Does anyone know of a place there to go to?? We can eat and visit with each other. It'll be fun! Anyone who is going please e-mail me so I'll know who to be looking for!! You will probably find me and Tracy easy...just look for Granny, Tracy and little Abigail! I make angels & snowment out of cloth and stuffing and use the cd as a base. They stand up perfectly using them. I attach the CD to the fabric with Miracle tape and then put a couple of strips of miracle tape on the top to stick a mound of stuffing on. These work a lot better than using cardboard or poster board and they are free! I do understand that some of you can't make the noon time. I would like to suggest that we also make another time..say around 3 or so for those who could not make the earlier meeting time...and those still at the convention could meet again and meet the new ones. If that is too much for Evo to put up with a bunch of listees twice, perhaps the second meeting could be at Appalachian Art and bug Wendy for a while! I'm open to just about any time the majority decides on. Sandy This message was from Sandy Lemons - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. There are about 50 people on the snail list already who don't live in the US, but allowing the others should increase it to about 100 choices. The receiver of the card does NOT have to be a stamper or even on the snail list. That's just an easy source of addresses. Remember to post on Valentine's Day the name and country of your 4 RAKees (don't include the whole address) Who else wants to play?
