He was hospitalized just before Christmas, but was home for the holidays. However, eventhough so many of his kids and grandkids made the trip, Grandpa was too weak to stay up more than an hour or so--nothing like the fun-loving, boisterous guy we all love. It was very sad and many of us felt it might be our last Christmas with him. Anyway, MIL just called and said he is back in the hospital. He has not gotten any better since Christmas and she is exhausted as well. He is also a diabetic and his sugar has dropped 4 times to around 50. He is not the kind of person who will take orders to do this or that about eating or meds or anything. The hospital he is at is an hour's drive from their house, so it is hard for my MIL to spend a lot of time there--esp. in the winter. We are about 6 hours away. If anyone would like to send a card and a cherry note to him or them, I would be really grateful. I thought my MIL was going to start crying on the phone tonight, and that is not like her at all. I am sure he will eventually return home, but I am not that optimistic about his future health. He was a heavy smoker all his life until he had a 4-bypass 12 1/2 years ago--he quit cold turkey. But, of course, the damage was done. Well, this is way too long. SO I'll send his addy to anyone who cares to send a card. Thanks! This project is more difficult to get going than I thought!! But this is what I have right now: 1 1/2" chipboard circles 2.00 for 25 4.00 for 50 6.00 for 100 plus 1.50 shipping 2 7/8" corrugated circles 1.00 for 25 2.00 for 50 3.00 for 100 plus 1.50 shipping 2 1/2" corrugated squares 1.00 for 25 2.00 for 50 3.00 for 100 plus 1.50 shipping Tiny corrugated circles 1.25 for 25 1.75 for 50 2.50 for 100 (includes shipping) Hearts will be available soon. I'm waiting on the chipboard. The squares are white corrugated and are great for making small books. I have some 2" hearts and 1 1/2" circles cut in clay coated newsback that I will throw in a couple of samples with an order. I would like feedback on this medium. I use it to embellish with and it takes the Ultrs thick EP beautifully. Newsback is about twice as thick as cradstock is and white on one side. E-mail me if you would like to order! Thanks! It's one of the nicest catalogs I've seen, with some really incredibly expensive items to drool over. It also gave me some ideas of things to make.
