It is a horrid feeling. Not to mention the added expense. It is usually because I have either entered a deposit twice when switching out the record books, or not writing down that I paid the House Payment. No DH to blame it on. I try to keep a hidden balance, money there that doesn't show, but sometimes, I use it too. This is not intentional, and I have never had a vendor be irate with me. It has not happened regularly either. But thanks for the understanding hearts that I have done business with on those rare occasions. I have also had two checks never be cashed by a vendor. Where are the checks? They never made it to my bank, and this is the time of year I go through and right all those financial wrongs. I do not want to be on someones bad customer list. One check was to a catalog that comes to the house, and I ordered two stamps. Since the stamps never arrived, I must assume, that either the order never arrived, or that it is lost in the postal void. The other check is to Baggie, for 6.95. Not a big amount, but where is it? I did get my stuff from her, and I am reissuing another check. It costs 28 bucks to put a stop payment on a check. Can't afford that, for a 7 dollar check. We still have some say in our government. Everyone should read up on the candidates, and make an educated vote. Do not ever support someone just because they say they are a democrat or a republican. It is more important to know what their positions are on things that concern us! Hopping off my soap box, and going back to the teenage slumber party from hell! I LOVE those little pads! oh.. btw, has anybody seen my indigo one? that's my very favorite and it's gone missing on me.. It would be better for them than the styrofoam peanuts they prefer. Whenever I get a package packed with peanuts I have to clean up every scrap (and you know how difficult THAT is). I was really quite pleased when some of the companys I order from switched to the wheat/potato peanuts. I figure that's got to be less harmful.
