We play racquetball together twice a week and see each other every day at work. He sent me a Christmas card which really surprised me. I immediately stamped a card for him. He mentioned it several times afterwards that I had gone to the trouble to make a card for him and even told mutual friends about it. Definitely I think you should send him a card. Friendship is a rare and valuable gift that is not to be overlooked or swept under the rug. I think you will find that he values the card very much. I AM currently reading A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J. Gaines. So far I am really enjoying it. I'll let you know my thoughts when I complete it (shouldn't be too long as the book is short (256 pgs.) Alicia :) PaperPalet@AOL.COM wrote: > Has anyone read any of the books in Oprah's book club?
