I need to clarify that my friend was charged for goods received and neither of us would disput the charges with the credit card company. The charges were fair and the goods were received. The problem was that the charges were put on her credit card when she specifically clarified (twice) that she wanted to pay by check. She is a new stamper and is still a little stunned by how money she racks up on toys. Her DH is also surprised by how the monthly cc bill has grown :) By paying by check for this order she was hoping to do a little creative bookeeping so that her DH wouldn't ntoice the charge. Now, of course, the damage is done, DH is in the know and she' s not even interested in taking the charge off the cc. We were both upset, though that the cc was used without her permission. It has been a good experience for me too, as I never concidered before that my cc number would be kept by a vendor, even after an order was filled, to be used at a later date. Live and learn! Thanks so much for the extras Jody ! All of the items are beautiful! Here's what I received: From Kimberly Davies: The Espana postoid done in bueatiful Harvest (?) rainbow colors and embossed with clear powder. Very elegant! From DK Stoneman: White cardstock airbrushed with blue as a background--beautiful verse from Kipling perfectly stamped. The bottom on the card it rough and across it run waves--gorgeous! From Jaimee Givens a fascinating card of rust cardstock....Fascinating because only part of it unfolds. The bottom layer has the Papua postoid from Stamp Out cute stamped in green on dark beige, The upper layer has the rust, then dark beige, the a native colored in delicately on white. This rectangle is bordered by green twine of sorts. Great! From anonymous the crossed hands that have been described.. From Suzanne Reynolds: dark green cardstock lightly speckled with gold. She has the same waves as DK used stamped in gold down the side and two fine gold lines across the top. She has topped this with a rectangle of black slighly off center...on top of that she has one of the oval celtic designes stamped and embossed in black and colored lightly in vivid turquoise. Under the Celtic image, she placed some fun wire (?). Where did you get that Suzanne? From finn-onymous (?) beautiful glossy burgundy cardstock topped with white stamped with barren trees embossed in black. She has a narrow burgundy ribbon at the top. Inside is a beautiful verse that I love. .."Do not stand at my grave and weep..." It is done in burgundy. Did you do that on the printer? Thanks to all. I feel rather badly as my cards were more fanciful than elegant. I'm also pulling together the address lists for the "somebody loves you" swap, look for those to go out Monday or so. (And if you meant to sign up for that one and didn't, now is the time, once I get these lists done, I can't put people in late.) Other than that, the rest of the mail will have to wait. I'm just too behind. ========================================================================= Janet Detter Margul | Real women don't have hot flashes...
