I never did post my card descriptions. And I only saw one of mine. Probably unsubbed? Anyway, here goes: I loved them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! Melissa David - an angel done in beautiful Multi-colored ink? with a sparkly embossing on dark purple cardstock, layered on a soft cloud like torn paper, layered on gray glossy and then all layered on the dark purple cardstock again. The card itself has a wonderful background affect, not sure how it was done. WOW! (came in a clear envelope) Cynthia Sillitoe - A darling princess with small stars hanging from her outfit., embossed in gold on hot pink cardstock. There are stars punched out of the hot pink, and there is a moon and stars also embossed in gold on the pink. Then that was layered onto a gold card. The gold shows through where the stars were punched out! Beautiful! Marcia - The cutest little angel holding a pink star behind her back. She's colored in and has the cutest little sparkly dots on her dress. They almost feel fuzzy. How were they done? A circle is torn out around her and it has silver embossing around the edge. The circle was then layered onto a card that has the softest looking lavendar clouds with silver embossed shooting stars! She is too cute. Jennifer Hanes - Elegant card! There is a fine line drawing of an angel with beautiful wings and beneath her it says "May Guardian Angels Watch Over You". It's embossed in gold and is on a pale pink/peach card with rounded corners. It's layered onto a little larger gold card with rounded corners. Then that is layered onto a soft muted blue cardstock. The blue card has a fine squiggly decoration in each corner embossed in gold. This card really is elegant looking. Sue Bentley - This one has a southwest Angel. Now I've never been into this southwest look, but this Angel has me sold! I love her. I need to get this stamp! She is done in browns and black with copper glitter. She is raised up on the front of a card that has little gold stars in the sky and mountain outlines in the background. Inside the card is more mountains and an Adobe. I LOVE this card. I hope I did o.k. on the descriptions. I will keep every one of these cards! This was my first SWAP. Sorry for the delay in posting. I hope my cards were o.k. I understand what you are saying completely. I knew Marlene for over 3 years before the first date. She was too nice, and I was afraid to mess up the friendship at the dances, if she said no. And I had been married twice before and lived with someone for over 3 years. Then the first time that I asked her to meet me at Perkins after a dance, someone over heard and it ended up with over 20 people being there. Took me another 3 months to ask again. It will be 2 years next month since we started dating, and almost that long since my phone bill has be less than $150 per month. We talk to each other a least once a day, on the phone, unless she is here for the complete day. Yes live is very exciting and very scarey at the same time when you find someone that is closer to you that close. I can remember your first post to the list about Eric, you knew than that it was different. It sounds like you have started on a life long journey together that will allow you both to alway feel young. I have seen 80 year old couples that are young because of their friend ship. I know that Marlene and I feel like teenagers since being with each other. Enjoy, don't try to figure it out, you can't and no one else can, all they know is they see your closeness, your concern and consideration for each other, and they dream of it for themselves, or if they have it, they appreciate it even more. I have seen *many* more people behave barbarically than I have animals. What I think is funny is that animals with bad behavior most often have learned this behavior from humans! Yet *we*, us humans, say "he behaved like an animal" or "he is such an animal" (which, of course, we are), like animals in general are so digusting.... I happen to really like and respect our feathered, furred and scaled earth-mates and hate to see them maligned!!! I think we *should* say, "he is such a low-level human" or "he/she behaved like the lowest of low human-like beings" or some such phrase.... Anyways, let's hear it for our voiceless friends who cannot comment on *our* disgusting behaviors!!! Sorry to go on so long but that one sentence really struck me. The rest of the article/quote was not lost on me though. Thank-you for passing it on to us all!! Rellarubba (and I am not saying we are on the same plane as animals in the whole scheme of things. I opened up the card (store bought on the outside, hand stamped on the inside with all sorts of kitty stamps!! (cute), and I start reading. It's from Kats Purr!! Remember about a week ago, when she asked for the interpretation of "J'embrasse mon chat sur la bouche"? (I kiss my cat on the lips)... well, seems I was so enthusiastic in my response that she sent me THE STAMP!!! Yipee!!! Thanks Kat!!
