I LOVE all of these = things!!! LOL!! The package was FULL of chocolates!! Dove chocolates, Hershey = chocolates, and a chocolate angel (really cute!). And also candy = valentine hearts (I don't know which is more fun with these -- eating = them or seeing what they say!). There was loads of metallic ribbons inside -- these are so cool! They = are red on one side and gold on the other. I'm already thinking up all = kinds of things to do with these! A woven ribbon that is a natural color with red edges -- will look great = on my "country-cute" cards. Five spools of metallic threads in different colors -- WOW! Loads of really, really cute stickers! I use stickers all the time and = love these! Some little cards that will be perfect for little gifts. Some really neat fabric in assorted colors that actually looks like = corrugated paper. Where did you ever get these? They're so neat!! Six Cobblestone Cottage Birdhouses note cards with a Siamese cat walking = on top of a fence among many birdhouses -- these are great!! Some clear envy's -- It's so much fun to show off a card you think = turned out extra special! The whole box smelled wonderful when I opened it. It was the Sarah = Michaels raspberry scented bath beads. I love soaking in a tub in the = evening -- these will be so nice! A bag full of buttons in pretty colors! =20 A HUGE stack of background papers -- there must be 100 of them!! I = really wanted background papers - so this was a great surprise! A = couple of them Becky made herself and they are really neat! A buttoned and beaded kit with a black crow sitting on a fence next to = two sunflowers. So cute! And I've saved the best for last -- not one, not two, not even three = rubber stamps! But a total of 10 stamps!! And a red stamp pad! Two cat stamps - one is a cat playing with a ball of yarn, the other = kitties in a bowl. These are soooooooo cute! A precious moments stamp!! These are my favorite! A little girl = looking up at a big sunflower and her puppy sitting behind her. You = couldn't have found a stamp I'd like better than this -- and I had never = seen it before! Thank you so much!! Seven foam mounted stamps in a package -- all valentine hearts and = roses. These are perfect. I don't know how to thank you enough!! My girlfriend taught me this. Greek Salad Use red leaf lettuce. Get fresh mushrooms, greek/mediteranean olives, the best feta cheese, chopped onion or green onion, and really good tomatoes (so, actually, you can't make this until summer), a green pepper chopped. Optional chopped fresh garlic (i like stuff really garlicky) Ok. put all that stuff in bowl. Proportions however you like. Oh, crumble up the feta cheese and add to the greens. The Dressing (the really important part) Absolutely Required: The BEST balsamic vinegar you can afford. Olive Oil Chopped fresh garlic ***optional: a packet of garlic italian dry salad dressing mix. Put the oil and vinegar together in one of those glass salad bottles that tells you how much of each (i can't mix a vinegrette from scratch--i end up with gallons) Add the chopped garlic. If this is enough flavor, stop here. If you want a more robust dressing, add a little of dry salad dressing to the mix. It's best if you can let the dressing sit for a few hours. Ok. Get a HUGE bowl. Oh--stick your finger in the bottle, and taste the dressing to see if theres enough garlic in it. Pour the dressing all over the salad. Toss to coat. Eat it all, unless your best friend is there, then you two can share it. mars mannix (Lemur: fix ME some....) I didn't understand that I was to send so many cards each month; I was under the impression that I was to return a card for those I received. I don't even have time to do that since the group has grown so much. Perhaps smaller groups would be better and then one wouldn't worry about having to do so many cards. I'd prefer smaller groups - say 15 - 20 and keep it that size. Just my 2 cents since I'm not there now. I am sorry to post this several days after receipt of the package, but the weather here has not been so good. Lots of snow, windy and freezing rain and I have not been to the mailbox. (I have a habit of falling down in good weather, so decided it was not wise to go off into the snow and ice) The brighter side is that I now work for a university, so I get snow days. It is like being a kid again. I watch the TV for the school closings and cheer when I see the university listed (delayed or closed). Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you. This was my first SS package. It was full of gold and silver. Gold stamp pad Silver Stamp pad Gold Cardstock Silver Cardstock Gold EP Silver EP Gold & Silver confetti Two magenta stamps - Pansy Wreath (I just love pansys, as do my sisters, so this stamp will have to be kept under lock and key) Bordered Fern Leaf (don't know actual name - but it is lovely) A lovely homemade card - little boy talking to the birds sitting in a tree. The boy is raised. The card is terrific. My friends are drooling over it. Again thanks so much. Everything is great. I am so excited about the next five months. And sorry again for posting so late.
