This is great stuff - and if you don't like how something turns out, heat it up and the image is gone! - ------------------------------ From: Barbara Holl Penscore is great stuff! If you don't want a reverse image of what you press the Penscore into press it into another piece of Penscore and you'll have an original. Is that clear as mud? - ------------------------ From: Debbie Evans Braun Here's a neat printing technique I learned from the owner of my fav. RS store. I adapted it a bit to work with the supplies I had on hand. Here's what you need: a reversing stamp or penscore pigment inks bold design stamps paper or cardstock I used penscore (approx 2"x2" of the 1/2" thick size), so that's what I'll describe, but it was explained to me with the idea that I'd use a reversing stamp. Well, I don't have one of those. If you do, try it with that, too... Dab pigment ink pad on penscore to cover one surface. You want a light, even covering, not thick and gloppy. With a contrasting color of pigment ink, ink up your bold stamp and stamp directly onto the coated penscore. Don't worry if the stamp slips a bit. That adds to the design. Then, stamp the penscore onto the paper or cardstock. You get a really cool, stoney, aged looking print. When you applied the stamp to the penscore, if it slipped a bit, it'll leave a little white outline that makes the image look embossed. It's pretty neat! - ------------------------------------- This message was from "***Cloud 9***" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
