My question: We have a new garage/workshop that will never house a car! It's finished inside and is very well insulated. Would it be safe to set up a stamping area there? It gets very hot in the summer here and I'm sure that would affect the rubber and the inks, but we have an a.c. unit; we could leave it on set at low to protect our treasures. Would that protect things adequately? We're working on a way to heat the workshop this winter as well. Thanks for any advice. E-mail me with help, instead of the list if you think this is of limited interest! There is a large screen available(PG-702), but you make 1/2 the screen and then slide it over and make the other 1/2. The original stays on the screen while you move it over because it has been basically melted to the screen. Then, as normal, when you do your second flash, you would remove the original and you have a larger screen. To print the screen, you then use the ink directly on the screen and place it on the item you want to print, use the squeegee and it will push the ink through onto your project. A little different technique, but you will have a larger image. The larger screens are $7.17 (2) Regular screens - $4.48 (2) Flash Lamps - $7.70 (10) Ink - $2.00 / tube Gocco - $77.00 Beth - -- Stampin' It! http://www.angelfire.com/biz/stampinit Mirror site: Http://members.tripod.com/~Stampinit/ Order Form http://www.angelfire.com/biz/stampinit/ordrfrm.html We do not accept credit cards at this time. My point here is: If the offer seems "TO GOOD TO BE TRUE". Don't hesitate to ask if a vendor is trust worthy. The wholesale price of an item is usually half of the retail price. Vendors like me and many others love to offer specials on merchandise not only for the customer but for ourselves too. By offering discounts even if it means that we don't make a profit. We might do this because maybe we are trying to stock up on items from certain companies. But, I will give you my opinion and this in my opinion only. I can't speek for other vendors here. (Unless I would win The Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and suddenly become a wealthy person or If I was going out of business.) I do not think I would ever offer a product knowing that I was going to take a lost or actually pay money out of my pocket to be able to offer the product such as the example that follows. ............................................................ > The wholesale price of an item a certain person on the list offers is > $6.48. I've offered 100 unmounted stamps for $18.00 in the past because I had too many lieing around here. And that offer does sound too good to be true. Today was just like Christmas...not only did I get two (count 'em) new RS catalogs in the mail, but a WONDERFUL package from my triber! Whoever you are, you must be psychic! I LOVE the Laurel Burch stamps - it's funny, I have the foam-mounted set of her cat stamps, and these two are NOT among them! So I got REAL excited to see 2 new ones! I can't wait to use them. The other two cat stamps are adorable, too. I'm not into "cute" - unless it's CATS! Triber, you sure know what you're doing...thank you SO SO very much!!!! Hooray! Well, gotta go - I have to make cards for a swap - I think I'll use this new Kindred Spirits stamp. It just begs to be embossed in gold and colored with glass stains! :) Hoooray!
