I'm new to rubber stamping and after joining this list, I'm getting sensory overload! LOL. I'm on both the PA list and here. There are so many talented people out there and so willing to share their tips and tricks. Hopefully I can get up the nerve to hop in and join a swap. I need to so I can see all that lovely work that is being done out there. I already have plans to go to the Rubber Stamp show that is in Sacramento in July and hopefully there will be someone else from here going so I can meet some fellow e-mail pals. I've also have stuff printed out so I can start ordering my supplies. No where around here to get much of anything so I'm grateful for the vendors that post their items. Happy stamping! Gee, Phil, I don't know. Did you try the URL I'd posted to check? http://postcalc.usps.gov/ It was busy when I just clicked it. Maybe *everyone* else is checking things there now. :-) $8.75/pound is considerably less expensive that what I paid to mail stuff to England last year. And I know that there's a lower rate for letter-packet. I just joined on on-going exchange and will be doing mailing 6x/year. Mailing a single big box to the postmaster of a Priority Point for re-posting of multiple items seems pretty attractive ... if there were more stamp stores in Sacramento, it might be different, but I haven't seem 'em yet, so I'd prefer to avoid the drive . . . a hour's drive, another hour stalled in traffic, no thanks. My dad died Sun. afternoon so the corrugated papers, samplers, etc. I had been working on are on hold for another week or so. I will be back East end of this week and part of next so will get things back in line when I have all of this tended to. Thanks for a bit more patience from everyone.
