There are over 300 pages here!(but they are double sided copies) Let me explain......first of all these are not the same thing as Linda Strawn is offering, this is different. I think last time Linda and I checked, it was only 3 duplicates. I will need to update these a bit, so right now all I want to do is make a list of interested people. If there is enough interest, then I will be taking a count, that way I will know how many to copy....so email only if you really want one. ..... This started off with Judy Perry making copies for everyone from a pattern swap that was done in 1996 full of patterns for envys, boxes, cards, etc. Since then, 3 more sections have been added and I plan to add another section, section #5, more tips and techniques and few more patterns. These are fantastic! Here is a partial list of the first section.... Shaker Card, Window Card, Basket Box, The Sliding Pop Up, Pyramid Box, Turning Circle, Origami(several, Pentagonal Envy, Small Gift Bag, Shirt Pattern, Round Paper Lantern Card, Flip Up Card, Slide Card, Hidden Message Card, Magic Color Card, Glue Stick Magnets, Windowbox Card, Wood Cube Puzzle, and on and on and on!!!! That's only a few! There are 137 pages and every other page is a pattern and the other page is instructions. Then there is a section where Judy added Tips, Techniques, and Ideas from the mailing list; things like stamping tool for making background textures, neat stamping accessories that are cheap and free, matchbook favor, sticker glues, homemade blender, metallic rub on, stamping with bleach, trees, making envys, recycling with tissue paper, wallpaper, baby wipes, cello ribbon, cheese cloth, match book card, and lots, lots more!!! Plus, I have added my own from my collection, more tips and techniques, more patterns, how to's, some scrapbooking pages. There are so many ideas and patterns! I always overlooked something every time I take mine out and look at it! Be prepared to go out and buy plastic sleeves to put them in a notebook! They're fantastic! The cost of copying is $12 and $3 for priority shipping, total of $15.00. So, are you interested? Let me know if you want me to put your name down. I would like to copy these all at once and send them out in one mailing. - -- Bonnie "Lass" Linhart Lass Creations 6339 Ventura Lane Central Point, OR 97502-9355 - - ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Feb 1998 20:32:27 -0600 From: stampalot@juno.com (Susan Silver Dill) Subject: Re: RubberTown: TRIBE?? It looks so lovely I didn't want to open it - for about 5 seconds!!!! - there goes - in a handmade box with beautiful ribbon with lace edging it - the smelly stuff!! - 4 heart shaped soaps - get for someone with only boys in the house and just moved - they look great in the bathroom - coloured wooden buttons and star shapes on a bed of sparklie stuff (ok I don't know it's name!!), wrapped also in wading the sweetest little cupid stamp from Peddler's Pack (were are they??); 3 little stamps and inkpad with a dove and flowers, a heart and a rose - ahh so romantic (could we please put back valentines day a couple of weeks - now with all this lovely stuff I'm inspired!) a bottle of Magenta embossing powder and (yes there's more!!) instructions and examples of a square envelope and pinwheel card! Oh I nearly forgot! - Chris came home from school (just started at a new school 3 days ago - much tears, etc) and opened his present from mum's secret stamping friend - WOW - It's planes!!! - - you sure do know how to win a 6 year old boys heart!!! - they haven't had a test flight yet! Well SST - thanks doesn't seem enough - you've made my day - my week!!! Your thoughfulness and generousity has spurnned me on! Hoping your sst treats you just a specially. Thanks Ally PS Here's the answers to your questions - I do own a rollergraph and the wheels of tumbling teddies and ivy; no stencils and I'm interested in the whole dry embossing thing; I've got a blizter - but don't really know how to use it; and yes to calligraphy pens - i've got both the felt and nib types - though once again I haven't really gotten into it either. BTW what are Blopens - like blizters?? Hope this helps you out. <<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> Tim & Ally Smith Devonport, Tasmania, Australia Web Page for HPV projects http://www.ihpva.org/people/tstrike/home.htm Web Page for Radio Control Model projects http://www.vision.net.au/~timotsc/home.htm Interests : RC Electric Model Aircraft,HPV's, Electric Vehicles, Electronics, Recumbent bike/trike rider & builder <<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> - - ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Feb 1998 16:07:31 EST From: ISTMP2@aol.com Subject: RubberTown: Formerly too many ads... Ok, some really nice person from California really made my day. I got home after a particularly trying day to find a mysrterious envelope in my mailbox. Inside was a very nice collection of hand made cards, I am sure from the people here on the list, probably swap cards. Whoever you are, THANK YOU! They are great! Hi! I just received the Happy Birthday swap today from Eva Koyama. Thanks Eva for being a great hostess! She also sent me a page of Happy Birthday stickers. I received them early because I was the first to get mine in and my Birthday is this month as well. It feels like I got an early Birthday present! Okay, now for the descriptions: From Carole Mork I received a card on dark hunter green cardstock. On the front is a Birthday Cake embossed in black on pink cardstock. She also has added gold glitter to the candles and the trim on the cake as well as red glitter to the candles. Above the cake is Happy Birthday embossed in Black. Well done. From Natasha laity Snyder I received a pop card made out of white glossy cardstock. The front is blank but when you open the card, what a surprise! Inside she has colored in stamped in pink and blue bubbles as a background. To the background she has cut out five blue foiled stars and two red foiled stars and glued them to the back of the card, diagonally she glued a piece of red ribbon, and over these she has cut out and stamped Happy Birthday in blue on white cardstock. On the pop up is a handsome young man wearing an open shirt and sportind lots of muscles. This is my kind of Birthday! LOL In front of him are four stars outlined in blue and then the centers colored in red. I can't tell if the guy is a young Elvis or not. But, still looks very nice. From Vivian Thiele I received a card made out of white cardstock. Cut in a small rectangular square and mounted diagonally is a dark cranberry piece of corrigated paper with gold threads through it. Over that she has stamped on white cardstock Happy Birthday. It looks as though she sponged over this with various colors. Nicely done. Around the Happy Birthday are gold stars, maybe made with a Marvy metallic pen? The cardstock was then cut with Fiskars scissors to give it a torn edge to it and she has also used a cranberry colored pen or marker to draw a border inside the torn edge of the Happy Birthday. Inside she has embossed in red Thinking of you on your special day. Nicely done. Next is a card by Patty Sulcs, it's made out of dark navy blue card stock. On the top she has embossed Happy Birthday in gold and then underneath that she has glued a piece of red cardstock along the bottom. The red cardstock has 4 circles cut out of it with stars inside them. Neat effect. Inside is the most gorgeous butterfly I've ever seen. I can't figure out what it is. Ah, it's a beautiful multicolored sticker! Very pretty! Finally, from Mary Krause a Birthday Party scene. On white card stock she has stamped 5 people in various positions. There's a woman in violet wearing a hat and tooting a birthday horn at a gentleman next to her who is wearing a green shirt and blue striped pants. He also sports a red bow tie, a silly grin and a stupid party hat. In his right hand are two balloons colored red and blue. Next to him is a lady dressed in pink and she carrying a huge cake with an unbelievable amount of candles on them. The cake seems to be in flames and the fire is outlined in red glitter. She also sports a party hat and a blue bow on her dress. Next to her is a skinny gentleman wearing brown pants and a yellow striped shirt, he's carrying a birthday package and his hat seems to have caught on fire. Finally to the right of him is a woman dressed in red wearing a party hat and twirling on one foot, one of her arms is raised above her head and on her wrist she sports a bracelet outlined in gold glitter. Over the entire scene is a banner colored pink and outlined in pink glitter proclaiming Happy Birthday. Inside the card is says It's okay to "Toot" your own horn, but not in mixed company. This was stamped using a rainbow pad. I believe she used pencils to color the people in. I love this card because it is soooo different from what I stamped. I hope that I did justice to everyone's card. They are so hard to describe Everyone did a wonderful job. I love ALL the cards! You guys have given me lots of great ideas! Thanks so much! And Thank you again Eva for the stickers. I don't have any stickers so these are my first! Happy Stamping!
