Happy Stampin New Year 1998 !! Still room for lots more players! Come and join us! This is my favorite monthly swap cuz it is so easy! Plus you get to see and collect a lot of the images that are out there........great for newbies especially! PROCEDURES: **Send ten (10)** cards 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch cards (half sheet of cardstock). Don't fold! Include an ADDRESS LABEL (SAML) for me to use to return the cards. **Send $1.00 for mailing the cards back** DON'T COLOR. Use WHITE - can be glossy or matte. Stamp in black ink that won't smear if colored with markers, or you can emboss. Tip: Vivid! or Outliners ink pads work great! EXCEPTION: Verses are ok in color - they seem to look better If you want to do different images on the cards instead of all the same, that is fine. Please include stamp credits. Put your name and e-mail addy on the back of each card. All cards must be postmarked by the last day of each month. Stamp things that will be EASY to cut out. Remember you will have to cut out what you get back to use to make your own cards. My address is: Eva J. Koyama (ejkoy@aol.com) 27751 Agate Canyon Drive Laguna Niguel, CA 92677-4058 Themes Feb Gardening ** See separate post** March Americana/July 4th April Disney or other cartoon characters May Cute Animals or Teddy Bears June Country July Hawaiian or Asian August Postoids or Postage Borders Sept Party or any Holiday Celebration Oct Penny Black Nov All Night Media or Hero Arts or Posh Impressions Dec Hearts & Flowers/Valentines Day Reminders: Choose images that are EASY TO CUT OUT and use WHITE PAPER. The only exception is if you do a large stamp that can only fit a couple of times on the card, then the card can be cut in half and used like a mat. For example, a floral image from PSX is usually large, so just stamp the image twice on one card and the card could easily be cut in half. ** Procedures** Send TEN cards Send ONE DOLLAR + SAML Due in mail by end of each month. Can't wait to see all your great images!! Let's play! Both are smooth finish (no bumps) so you can stamp, or write on them with ease. #1 - "Lots of Petals" - this one has lots of tiny petals throughout, the petals are more broken up, and denser... #2 - "Sparce Petals" - this one has fewer petals, and they are more spread out.... not such a heavy feeling..., but the petals are bigger and more colorful. I've been Rak'd.  Today I received a VERY elegant and beautiful card from Anna Nielson.  She took a piece of cs and spray painted it with matte black paint.   After it was dry she embossed in gold a beautiful flower, inside the flower she scratched some of the paint off, sort of like a scratch board.  This gave the flower dimension.  It's just beautiful!  Then she glued this piece to white cs and wrote a border in gold around it.  The border says, Random Acts of Kindness.  I love your card Anna!  I'm sooooo jealous!   It's sooooo beautiful, but you gave me wonderful ideas!  Thanks!!!!

They have also created a new product called "Microfine Glitter" The name of the product spells it out - this glitter is even finer than the original. Sounds unbelievable, doesn't it. There are 10 new colors of Microfine, designed to be used for enhancing collages, paintings and very sophisticated stamp art, when you have a more concervative look in mind. I ordered new samples today and I should be able to describe the colors much better as soon as I receive them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fax your orders to: (253) 804-9377 or email me - jutta@wolfenet.com Payment Options: Send check or money order to: Hood Enterprises 1602 - 22nd Street NE Auburn WA 98002-3437 OR use your VISA - MasterCard - Discover - American Express Telephone: (253) 939-9349 Web Site: http://www.wolfenet.com/~jutta ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 06:48:55 EST From: Rustamping@aol.com Subject: RubberTown: need some tea poems.......Please desperate I would love the poem...sorry we cant have tea...when you get this think of me kind of thing...thanks kathie - - ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 19:40:59 +1100 From: "stampers@tig.com.au" Subject: RubberTown: RS:AD: PAPER GRAB BAGS Due to overwhelming requests, we have put together not one but two paper = grab bags! :-) The first grab bag is full of dark as well as various cream coloured = papers. As an opening business special (which is good through February 28) I would like to offer a grab bag of 75 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock for just $10.00 which includes priority shipping within the United States. Add $3.95 for delivery to Canada, Great Britain and Germany. Add $5.95 for delivery to Australia and New Zealand. (If you have questions about delivery to any other country I would be happy to let you know what the cost would be.) This is truly beautiful cardstock. The grab bag includes four different neutrals (perfect for Easter or Spring cards). Included are white embossed leather, pebblestone, oyster flecks, and cottonwood. All of these are textured or have flecks or specks of a variety of neutral colors throughout the cardstock. These are not plain ho-hum papers - they are all quite beautiful. All are 80 lb. cardstock except the pebblestone which is 65 lb. I know that you will be taking a leap of faith by placing an order with me since I am a new vendor. That is why I am offering such a special price on this paper. All I ask is that you please give me a chance to show you what a wonderful vendor I will be for you. This introductory offer is good through February 28. Remember the grab bags are just $10.00 per 75 sheet grab bag including priority shipping! To order a grab bag (or two!) for yourself or your Tribe Buddy or as a RAK e-mail barbara@kans.com or mail check or money order to: Creative Images 1112 Neosho Burlington KS 66839 I can accept Discover Card and am working on being able to accept Visa and MasterCard but the paperwork is not done being processed at the bank - lots of red tape!
